I like that this runs off of your house pressure and requires no electricity. It isn't hard to hook up, but isn't easy either. I'm not used to doing plumbing jobs so it took a lot longer than expected to get setup. It came with all the tubing and fittings needed, but I opted to get teflon tape on my own to make it tighter. It runs quietly and comes fully self contained. There isn't a good place to track filter installation dates, so I printed off a mailing sticker to keep track - it would be nice to have a better system for this.
This is a high quality water filtration system. It has five stages of water filtration to yield a high quality RO filtration with a reservoir as a nice built-in contained unit without having separate pieces. Hanging underneath the kitchen sink that can get caught up and damaged everything instead is in a nice enclosure with a clear lid so you can keep an eye for anything crazy happening. The RO filtered water is superior to any tap water that you get from your municipality. With this, you get very low levels of contaminants and most biological bacteria are removed through the RO membrane system. Practically eliminating the need to boil water under a boil of water notice.

The under-sink design keeps everything out of sight while providing a dedicated source for filtered drinking water. There are a lot of components, but once installed it’s a much more permanent solution than constantly buying bottled water or replacing countertop filters.

I live close to the shore of one of the Great Lakes and our ground water comes from an aquifer that is connected to the Great Lake. With that water comes clay, fine sand, and other stuff and though the water is being naturally filtered, it doesn’t completely remove dissolved minerals like iron and naturally occurring arsenic so I wanted to try a reverse osmosis system to rid the water of these things.I am also very picky about the taste of water. It took me a long time of testing bottled water to find one that had the cleanest taste. I’m happy with it but I want to be able to drink the water out of my faucets with that same clean taste.This filter is a winner. The water it filters has a very clean and fresh taste and I don’t have to worry about the bad minerals at all. I no longer worry about stocking up on bottled water and instead use the newly filtered water from my sink.The filter is very easy to install, made extraordinarily well, compact enough to fit on one side of the cabinet under the sink and resolves the anxiety around not knowing exactly what you’re drinking. I absolutely love this filter and I don’t ever want to be without it.
